	ALEXANDRA business people and potential entrepreneurs were surprised when they were told that the business skills training programme offered by ORT South Africa was extended to a date not given.<br />
	<br />
	On 12 May during the induction session, ORT management told the entrants that the training will take three months and they will receive accredited certificates. Recently they received letters explaining that the training will continue until further notice. The training takes place every Monday at Sankopano Business Place and is funded by ABSA.<br />

	Entrepreneurs want to know when is the further notice management is talking about since it could mean next year.<br />

	One of the entrepreneurs who remained anonymous said ORTSA is not honest with them. “I told my husband that the training will take three months and I will get a certificate, but now he will think I was lying. They should have told us the truth from the beginning,”<br />
	<br />
	Another businessman said he had an agreement with his boss at work that every Monday he will be late for three months because he will be attending a business skills programme. Now he has a problem what he will say to his boss. “My boss will not allow me to attend until further notice. They must tell us how long the training will take,” said anonymous.</p>
